Jen Dary

Jen Dary is a highly sought-after leadership coach and the founder of Plucky, a leadership coaching and consulting firm. She is also the survivor of a meningioma brain tumor, which was removed via brain surgery in 2016, a challenging experience that earned Jen a refreshed perspective and new goals for Plucky. A people person through and through, Jen’s joy comes from connecting with people in every way.

As a leadership coach, Jen works with individuals and companies to create healthy dynamics at work. To date, Jen has empowered professionals at over 200 companies, including Google, Facebook, The New York Times, Slack, Code for America and many digital agencies in tech and tech-adjacent industries and shared her expertise with outlets including the Wall Street Journal.

As a coach, Jen empowers her clients to move confidently along their individual career paths as leaders and creatives. Jen has taught over twenty-five cohorts of new managers in her “So Now You’re A Manager” program and built a thriving community of leaders who support each other through the Plucky network. She is also the creator of specialized tools and resources for leadership (found here) which have been purchased and implemented by companies around the world. Jen launched her Be Plucky podcast in early 2023 with focus on mentorships.

Jen lives in Arlington, VA with her husband and young sons. She finished writing her first book (about the brain tumor) which she plans to release in the coming year.
