Zolt Levay is a photographer who's specialized in various genres of photography, including scenes from nature, landscape, night sky, fine art, wildlife, urban.
In addition, he is widely recognized for his significant contributions as an image processor and science communicator at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI), where he played a crucial role in processing and enhancing images captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, among other projects. Collaborating with scientists and astronomers, Zolt transformed raw data into stunning visual representations of the cosmos. His expertise in image processing and astrophysics has greatly enriched our understanding and appreciation of the universe, as he captured the awe-inspiring imagery that Hubble has provided. In 2015, he shared his insights and expertise as a lead imager for Hubble during a TEDx talk in Kansas City.
Zolt's work as a photographer showcases a unique blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of our planet and beyond. He's currently based in Bloomington, Indiana.
