Luckily, organizations like José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen are meeting the challenge with a variety of efforts to empower communities and strengthen economies. Recently, Nicolai cooked for a group of firefighters at a celebration of life.

This is especially salient as yesterday more than 4,100 deaths and more than 280,000 new coronavirus cases were reported, both records.
